Dear Family Members,

Since our last update, Shoreline Healthcare Center has gone through numerous exciting changes. Our first and biggest change is the welcoming of our new Executive Director, Wil Mendoza, who has many years of experience in the skilled nursing field. Wil has her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and her Master’s in Healthcare Administration, which makes her an excellent addition to the Shoreline team.

In our quest to provide world-class nursing and rehabilitation, we’re the first SNF in Long Beach to implement CareTracker. CareTracker is the innovative touch screen documentation system that helps us enhance the quality of care, control risks and improve accuracy.

Here at Shoreline, it is important to always provide our residents and guest with World Class customer service. Delivering outrageous customer service is high on our priority list. That is why all of our staff is currently undergoing an intensive training on becoming world class employees.

Just this past weekend, Shoreline had its annual recertification survey by the Department of Health. The teamwork displayed by all staff members was extraordinary. And that is why the results were phenomenal! Keep up the tremendous work team!
